Kathmandu . Rishiram Bhandari, Rajendrabahadur Lama, and Ramprasad Sapkota have been appointed as members of the executive committee of the Nepal Tourism Board, filling three vacant positions.

The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation endorsed their appointments during a cabinet meeting. The appointments were recommended by a committee formed under the leadership of then Tourism Minister Sudhan Kirati, which had proposed five names for membership.

These appointments come as part of the government’s efforts to strengthen and revitalize the tourism sector, a vital component of Nepal’s economy.
